It's nice to meet you!
Like all of life’s best stories, my Interior Design journey began on a whim. Inspired by the twists and turns of life’s unexpected events, I decided to take a leap of faith one summer afternoon in 2018 and change careers.. As a little girl, I always loved art and dreamed of being called a “designer” one day. I originally started out my first college journey in an Interior Design program but life changed and I graduated with a Liberal Arts degree in 2008. After spending the last 5 years holding down the family fort while raising three little girls, it was time for me to dust off my creative roots, circle back to the beginning, and pursue a lifelong passion in design.
I recently completed my second degree - AAS: Interior Design + Architecture degree at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado. Along with my degree, I received a Kitchen + Bath Design Certification. I love all areas of the design process but especially enjoy focusing on the details of a project. My meticulous, creative eye along with being capable of designing within the scope of many different styles allows me to create compelling projects. One of my favorite colors is chartreuse and I love when I can use it in a design.
I’m a Fort Collins, CO native. My husband and I now live in Timnath, CO with our three adventurous little girls, a lazy German Shepherd named Pippa, and five quirky little hens; all whom I adore! In my free time, I love to sketch, journal and create art on my iPad. I enjoy drawing plant life and I recently started taking sketching classes to stretch my scope and give myself a challenge. I am an avid outdoor gardener, a bit of a crazy indoor plant lady, and I secretly hope to add bee keeping to my list of hobbies one day! I enjoy reading, writing, designing (of course) and adventuring around the country with my family in our camper trailer.
I hope to someday write and publish a children’s book; and learning to play the violin, a trip to Ireland and Australia, seeing the Northern Lights, and spending a Christmas in Times Square, New York are tops on my bucket list!
