A Fort Collins Home Staging Studio, Since 2021

Narrative Interiors is a Fort Collins staging studio, open since 2021. We have staged a house on Marshall Road in Boulder. Mapleton Hill and Whittier bring Victorian and craftsman homes with porches and woodwork. Table Mesa and Martin Acres are 1950s and 1960s ranches and split-levels. Newlands brings 1920s to 1940s Tudor Revival cottages. We stage vacant homes with our own inventory and restyle occupied ones, mostly for realtors.

The kitchen has stained wood cabinets, a dark green tile backsplash, white counters and a stainless range. The home office has a black desk, a white chair, exposed wood beams and a terracotta tile floor.

The Home Staging Process, Step by Step

01

Reach Out

Call or send the form with your Boulder listing date. One week of notice is preferred, and a rush install is possible for a fee, with some rush jobs started from photos.

02

On-Site Staging Consultation

We visit the Boulder home to read the light, views and room sizes. Vacant homes use our own inventory. Occupied homes get a 2 hour Listing Restyle.

03

Proposal and Install Date

You receive a proposal with the install date, and the inventory is chosen for that Boulder home, not a fixed package. Sellers or realtors clear the home, and cleaners come before the install.

04

Install, Listing Period and Removal

We install and style the home. Thirty days of rental are included, then it continues month to month, which helps when a Boulder listing runs past the first month. Removal needs 1 week notice.

1

Market-Ready Staging

Furnished staging for vacant Boulder homes, using our own inventory chosen for that house. In a Mapleton Hill Victorian, that means pieces that suit the woodwork and scale. In a 1960s ranch, it means defining open rooms so buyers see how they live.

2

Listing Restyle

For occupied Boulder homes, a flat fee restyle of up to 2 hours using the owner's furniture, with art provided if needed. It suits a seller still living in a Table Mesa or Newlands home who wants the rooms edited, not emptied.

3

Designed to Sell

Renovation for resale, where we design and manage the build before the home lists. With many Boulder homes built before 1980, older kitchens and baths are common candidates for updating before listing. We make no guarantees on sale price or days on market.

Vision is the art of seeing the invisible.

Home Staging Questions, Answered

How long does the staging stay in the home?

Thirty days of rental are included, then staging continues month to month. For context, Boulder County single family homes took a median of about 61 days to sell in July 2026, per IRES data, so some listings run past the first month. Removal needs 1 week notice.

Do you stage homes in Boulder, and is there a travel fee?

Yes. We have staged a house on Marshall Road in Boulder. Our service area is Northern Colorado, and a travel fee may apply outside it, so call (970) 286-9918 with the address and we will confirm for your listing.

How do you stage a Boulder home to show its views and light?

Furniture is chosen and placed so windows, light and sightlines stay clear. Many Boulder buyers look for light, foothill views and a link to the outdoors, so we look at these at the on-site consultation. Inventory is chosen for that home, not a fixed package.

Do you stage condos and townhomes in Boulder?

Yes. Vacant condos and townhomes are staged with our own inventory, and occupied ones can get a 2 hour Listing Restyle. Downtown and Pearl Street have many condos and townhomes, and the inventory is chosen for each unit's rooms and scale. Call (970) 286-9918 to talk through a specific unit.

What does home staging in Boulder cost?

Cost depends on whether the home is vacant or occupied, its size, how long the staging stays and whether you need a rush install. A proposal follows the on-site consultation in Boulder. Call (970) 286-9918 and we can walk you through how it is set.
