How much does an interior designer cost in Windsor?

It depends on the scope: the number of rooms, the square footage, whether the project includes a renovation, how much sourcing is involved, and how much build management is needed. Each service level is priced differently, and the fee is set at the consultation once the scope is clear.

How long does an interior design project take?

Four weeks for an interior design styling or furniture project. Six to nine months for a full renovation with drawings, selections, procurement and construction. Timelines are set once the scope and service level are confirmed.

What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?

Training and scope. A decorator works with surface finishes and furnishings. An interior designer is trained to plan space, draw layouts, specify materials and coordinate construction. Call or send the form. Consultations are usually scheduled within about a month of your call.

In-Home Design Consultation

Mandy visits your Windsor home, whether a newer build in RainDance or Water Valley or an older house near Old Town, and talks through your space, style and how you live.

Design and Approval

Mandy presents the design and you approve it before anything is ordered. If your community has an association, such as RainDance, ask early about its review, which can take up to 45 days.

Sourcing and Execution

We source the pieces and carry the project through to install. Renovations are managed with our contractor and trade partners, and the Town of Windsor's permit page lists basement finishes on a separate permit.

Does a Windsor HOA need to approve an interior remodel?

It depends on the community. RainDance's welcome packet says no improvements may be made without Association approval, with review taking up to 45 days, and that approval does not replace town permits. Check your own association's rules before ordering, and Mandy can build review time into the schedule.

Can you furnish a large open plan Windsor home so it feels finished?

Yes. Curated + Collected covers furniture, styling and architectural detailing, and it suits large open rooms where scale matters. Mandy plans zones for dining, sitting and working, then layers furnishings, lighting and accent pieces so the space holds together. Investment is set at the consultation once the scope is clear.

Do you offer furnishings and styling only, without a renovation, in Windsor?

Yes. Curated + Collected is furnishings, styling and architectural detailing without a full renovation. Mandy visits your Windsor home, plans the pieces room by room, and sources and installs them. A renovation can be added later if the home calls for it, with the same designer.
